Family is My Foundation & Greatest Teacher. I was raised in a loving home by my parents, Lawrence and the late, Mary Prince nee McKenzie, alongside my 10 siblings. My leadership is built on the discipline of my policeman father and the entrepreneurial spirit of my mother, a successful tourism trailblazer.

I am a vital support for my 96-year-old father, ensuring he has everything he needs to thrive. This journey is why I am fighting for a specialized elderly and special needs care facility, so our seniors and differently-abled citizens get the dignity, care, and vibrant activities they deserve.

The Miracles of Motherhood: I am the proud mother of two extraordinary sons. Kenrick, a Creative Director at The Walt Disney Company, tells stories through visuals. He is an award-winning filmmaker, his film premiered on HBO and was featured at Cannes Film Festival, marking him one of the industry's most promising young directors.

Blake is my miracle; after a stroke at ten months, he defied all medical odds, he is visually impaired but hears music the way others read poetry, and his heart belongs to the sounds of The Bahamas. He aspires to become a Bahamian musician and never misses an opportunity to take the mic in front of a crowd and rock the house.

With 35 years as a successful entrepreneur, Yvette is the COI Shadow Minister for Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship & Empowerment and a powerhouse for the Bahamian economy.
